In accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Law held by Individuals, consent is requested from the data subjects providing data to Colegio Americano de Xalapa S.C. trading as Colegio Americano de Xalapa, referred to as “School” in this policy, to be used under the following terms:

Both the data contained in admission applications to the School, as well as those obtained to enroll a student in the School; as well as to participate in any event and/or activity organized by the School, are private data; that is to say: they are not available to the public and will only be used for the following purposes:

– Allow the interested party access to the courses and/or events and/or activities they have registered for.
– Send via email or by any other means, information of interest related to the school.
– Send invitations and/or publications via mail to the address indicated for this purpose.
– Contact the interested party either by telephone or by email to establish communication with them and for them to receive the information and services that the School provides.
Additionally, the information of the students, both name and photograph, may be used for internal publications; these may be printed and/or electronic, carried out by the School.

The personal data of each data subject, whether an applicant to the School or only to attend any of the events and/or activities offered, as well as those of the Parents of current and former students of the School already registered, are handled as confidential and will not be provided to any natural person and/or legal entity, without the consent of the data subject. Likewise, they will not be used outside the Schoool’s purposes, except when there is a legal or judicial mandate to do so.

Access to the personal information of each data subject is limited only to those employees, members of the School Board, who, for the normal development of the School’s purpose, need to have contact with the data subjects to provide them with the services and benefits that the School offers, likewise, the Secretariat of Public Education has access to the personal information of each data subject for regulatory and certification purposes.

We only collect your personal data for the purposes mentioned in this Privacy Notice. In this sense, it informs you that your personal data will be treated and safeguarded based on the principles of legality, quality, consent, information, purpose, loyalty, proportionality, and responsibility, established in the federal Law on Protection of Personal Data held by Individuals.

The School has video recording equipment; this information is safeguarded and used based on the principles of legality, quality, consent, information, purpose, loyalty, proportionality, and responsibility, established in the federal Law on Protection of Personal Data held by Individuals.

The School may make additions or changes to these policies, as long as they are within the current and applicable legal framework. Changes made that directly affect the use we make of the personal information of the data subjects will be notified to them through a message sent to the email address provided or placed on this website.

In case you wish to exercise your ARCO rights (access, rectification, cancellation, or opposition) to the publication of your personal data, you must send a message to administracion@colegioamericanoxalapa.edu.mx so that your request can be processed.
